Modern film and TV sets rely on robust networking to power their lighting systems. In this class, you’ll learn the language of lighting networks—IP addressing, subnetting, switches, nodes, and how to program rigs with distributed control. Emphasis is placed on practical workflows that mirror today’s on-set demands.
This is Day 2 of the “DMX Control for the Lighting Programmer & Set Lighting Technician” workshop and is best paired with Days 1 and 3 to maximize your grasp on how DMX, networking, and console workflows intersect.
